Live in vehicle question

Hi everyone.

 

This year we are bringing our camper and wondered how the pitches are marked out, if at all?  Or is it a first come first served free for all like the other fields?

It's well organised with proper plots. They'll direct you to where you've got to go, the fields not a free for all.

They put the vans in straight lines with a space for the car next to you and there's fire breaks front and back of you so it's easy to get out when festivals over. Very structured and organised

Really Ramragon?  That's awesome news, I've been to less organised camp sites by the sound of it

It'll be fine, I think the only complaints I usually hear are that the fields big and there's only 1 toilet block and that it's a bit of a trek into the arena (but most campervan areas are that way )

There are plenty of water points and disposal points for grey water and chemical toilets as well

Superb!  I had heard that it was a bit of a trek, we were spoilt last year in the Emperor Field but it shouldn't be too bad a trek if only the sun will shine.   :-)

What you lose in closeness to the arena you make up in comfort and an organised living space rather than waking up one moning to find a tent pitched outside your door !

Don't get me wrong, it's not miles to walk, just my wife has walking difficulties and was a real slog for her in the mud last year. Probably take you 10 minutes from the far side of the campervan field into the arena

Not to mention my own shower and loo.  I was very unfortunate last year and every loo was poo'ed on rather than poo'ed in.

Looked on twickets, gumtree, Ebay .... No live in vehicle tickets?? Any idea where else I might look
