I posted this in the glastonbury page, but they're a bunch of fannies .... anyhoo ...

Did anyone see the Scottish Album of the Year last night? the winner (Kathryn Joseph) should replace the Foo's (I'm half kidding) I listened to the album (Bones You Have Thrown Me and Blood I have Spilled) this morning, it is quite magnificent, give yourselves a treat and have a listen (it's on spotify

Not sure how they'll go down on the Other, it doesn't seem the ideal place for them. I saw them a few weeks at Gorilla in Manchester, it was one of the most intense live shows I've seen in a very very long time. I go to quite a lot of gigs, but this was one that really stood out, it's been ages since a band has come up that felt this exciting. Sadly they're clashing with Sleaford Mods and The Pop Group, so I can't see them at Glastonbury, but I'll be watching them again at Latitude, and whenever I can catch one of their own gigs in future. I'm a newcomer to their stuff, but they really feel like they could be the stand-out new band of this decade, I've not been this enthused about a new band since Los Campesinos! first appeared.
