It was definitely No Reptiles, couldn't agree more, best moment of the whole weekend

It's the bit before it about eggs that gets me, mainly because I've now been trying and failing to understand what the hell it means for six weeks already

I was so gutted I missed both of their sets this weekend.

I get the ISIS thing running through most of it, but the wibbly wobbly eggs, just not happening.

We went to the WG set but not the other stage. Absolute belter when that song came on, even though I didn't know it the emotion in the tent was palpable. Huge singalong in there and the band seemed genuinely touched.

Yep was absolutely incredible, both sets in my top 5 and i said in the other thread that the best song was Transatlanticism by Death Cab but that was a mistake, definitely No Reptiles. Never heard a reaction like it!

As great as they were on Friday, the tent and smaller crowd built the moment and made this track soar.

The ovation afterwards really seemed to get to the band...

No reptiles in WG was my absolute moment of Glastonbury this year, the reaction from the crowd, and from the band made me smile like an absolute lunatic, I can't stop watching that video on youtube, but I am disappointed the reaction wasn't filmed for a bit longer, they probably had to cut a couple of songs from their setlist because of it!

 

I saw photos on twitter, there were twice as many people outside the tent as there was in it, couldn't have happened to a more deserving band. They are playing Brixton in November, not sure I can go that long without seeing them after this weekend.

Gutted I missed this as it sounds like it was a storming set. They were excellent on the other though.

Spent too long lying on the floor of the Acoustic Tent, stuffing myself with mac & cheese and got down to WG too late to get in.

 

My group stood on a little bank where we could see over the crowd and watching that whole scene unfold was both magical and surreal. The energy from the crowd drew me in that it felt almost like an out of body experience. In my top 5 of the weekend and loving the new album.

 

Do think his new haircut looks daft though.

Hi, know im super late but googled to find stuff about this set. It's been 3 weeks now and I still can't stop thinking about it. That song was called No Reptiles which he got emotional to the reception they received afterwards (fully deserved). Best crowd atmosphere i've been in a loonnng time. Beautiful experience and one to boast about, bought the album as a kind of thanks, first i've bought in years.

I thought they were great and glad we caught them instead of going to Young Fathers on the Other Stage instead.

 

I was too mullered to enjoy them on the Other stage on Friday.
