Sat: Main: Calvin, Ellie Goulding? R1: The 1975 KT: New Order, Last Shadow Puppets, Travis Sun: Main: Mumford, Madness? R1: Faithless KT: Primal Scream Except for Madness subbing main, if they didn't have a Saturday closing dance and it was just a standard headline act then it wouldn't that impossible at all. It's expected that Courteeners/The 1975 are playing equivalent R&L slots. Ellie G would do that slot as well, as would the other two R1 headers and both KT's headers. If anything, LSP would headline Tuts as well.
standfree92
Biffy are playing a festival in Austria next June. Think they will be a shoe in to headline now

DomDom1984
Is it wrong that I actually really like the Saturday main stage there? I can see festivals pushing TDCC higher than that. Whether they warrant it will remain to be seen, but I can't see them being that low. And Madness headlining Tut's one night might be enough to get me to buy a ticket. harryomatic
Know what you mean about TDCC. Again, depends on the next album I reckon. Their 2nd one didn't really propel them upwards as much as I thought it would, and it'll be 4 years since it came out when the new one is released. If it does well, then yeah they'll probably be a bit higher, but if it doesn't, then I can see them falling a bit, similar to The Vaccines. I'm very pessimistic about most of the lineup tbh. I would just be surprised if they aren't there this year, they need to put some stuff on to appeal to people who will be going for Roses, and NO are perfect for that, plus they have their brilliant new album. It doesn't seem like they're doing IOW either, and I doubt they will be doing Reading or V (not that these would stop them playing anyway). Makes perfect sense to have them and Roses on the same bill. There will be a lot of pissed off people if they have been tempted by Roses and then there fuck all else for them. ls2408
News articles floating around that Glasto headliners are Muse, Coldplay and Foo Fighters. Do we rule any of these out?

No there won't because this is what happened in 2012 and we're not daft enough to get bitten twice. There will be some people who can't get tix for the other SR shows and think it's worth a weekend ticket to see them. Unless they also like pop shite they are going to be bored for the rest of the weekend. I can't understand T's policy on this. They used to have a bit of something for everyone, then reduced the stages and evidently the booking budget. The crowd changed accordingly to one that likes pop and DJs but then they go and put the Roses on as headliners. If they put an EDM DJ up against them then main will be empty. I was at T in the brilliant 2011 year and 2012. 2012 lineup was piss but they did exactly what I said in having a few bands in there which would appeal to Roses fans. New Order were one of them. Noel, Kasabian, Happy Mondays. I bought a ticket this year purely because its not going to cost me much more for a weekend there (car) than it was for a night in Manchester (train). I know what to expect and I never planned on returning. There's obviously gonna be a few things that appeal though. I'll be happy if I get a few from New Order, Faithless, Suede, Madness, Manics, Happy Mondays, Last Shadow Puppets, James, and The Coral. Not expecting much though. kingcrawler
If anything I'd say that makes them less likely. There's never a big crossover between Bilbao BBK and TITP, there was only 4 acts who did both last year. Acts are more likely to stay in mainland Europe and do NOS Alive as well.
Alan_C
Probably doesn't mean much either way other than they're active then. The festivals aren't connected. I'm confident anyway. One of the only good bands i am confident about

Alan_C
Pixies, Foals, Wolf Alice, Father John Misty, José González and Years & Years added to NOS Alive between 7-9 July. Some of them are possibilities. M83 were already announced and are also doing Bilbao BBK on them dates along with New Order. Definitely get some of them.
