Why so many Scousers?

See?  i think the opposite.  I am from Liverpool and despite having lived in Yorkshire for 20 plus years, I still have an accent and I always thought that was why I don't really notice it like others seem to

I've lived in Yorkshire for 20+ years too :)

It's funny how we all se things differently.

yeah i think every single girl on my coach on the way there had curlers in their hair. i knew walking around the city all day before a night out was a pretty scouse thing to do, but before a festival!?

Not been out in Liverpool a lot, but from what I've seen, a rainy night out in Liverpool is funny as fuck for girls absolutely losing their shit that their curls have fallen out in the rain.

Note for southerners: you know that coats aren't traditionally taken on a night out in the north, so obviously umbrellas are out of the question.

Had a brilliant Scouse experience on Sat, early hours.

We'd wandered into the fire garden in the Healing Field and people started organically drifting over, attracted by the fire. This full on shaman character who made the place comes out with his long hair and fur outfit, carrying a didgeridoo, and makes us all bash blocks and chant, including these two Scouse lads rolling a dubious cigarette. It goes on for ages.

When it's finished we are all sat in silence, almost tripped out. These lads turn to the Shaman bloke and go, "Everton or Liverpool mate?" Sound blokes but what they were doing there, I've no idea! Glasto is ace!

I was actually thinking of making the same thread.

I'm no tech expert but maybe Seetickets servers are located near there or for some reason IP addresses local to merseyside seem to be able to access the system quicker.

Also working on the gates, it did seem that more times than not a dubious ticket would be in the hands of someone with such an accent.

(I've never seen this)

You're in Ormskirk not Liverpool

My seetickets coach was full of girls with rollers in and full of scally Liverpool lads. I felt like I was going to Creamfields not Glastonbury, they were doing ket on the way down at 8am on Wednesday. Can't imagine they were feeling the best come Monday. Also I've been in Manchester for most of the year for Uni and I've come back to Liverpool to find that all the scally lads who used to have their head's completely shaved now all have perms, what's with this new trend?

with it being my first Glastonbury I was  amazed at how many Scousers attended? They must have had some sort of direct link to see tickets there because there is no way that with so many people wanting to attend it was a coincidence that so many of them managed to get tickets

hahaha that merseyside internet. Surprised there was even anyone left in the city!

(Myself being one of the many scousers who made the trip to worthy farm.)
