was just wondering what campsites are open on the Thursday this year? and also, what entertainment there will be on the Thursday this year as last year I remember going to the silent disco,thanks

Yeah that's a nuisance. I prefer being a bit back not too crazy but still lively. The old purple campsite was the best for jt

yeah, generally people who get there on a thursday are the party people, they want ones closest to arena so they get up on friday and get down there.

last time i camped it was the closest to the arena that was opened first, great big fookin fields empty but not open till the friday, think that was 2008.

To be honest if you go on Thursday you should get first come first serve on any campsite. And Friday campers will just fill the gaps. Saves all the bother om the for day everyone moving etc.

I guess they restrict the camping areas on Thursday for security/stewarding purposes

I can see them leaving Pink and Red closed on Thursday, but it's hard to say.

All campsites are open on thursday except from red and pink 3 and 4 according to the essential guide

Nobody knows for sure but my guess would be the north campsite
