Doing this as normal from Perth and concerned about the new two drop off arrangements.

 

First bus to day trip seems to arrive well after first band on and from the map the camp site drop off will be a fair hike back round to day entrance.

 

Any one else looked at this?

I was about to post something similar. For Glasgow, the first bus up to the day entrance doesn't get you there until 3:05pm when the arena entertainment starts at 2pm. That bus appears to be 'full' anyway so the first available bus won't get you there until after 4pm.

The City link site says there will be busses every 10 minutes on the Friday, but when i tried to buy online, the earliest bus was gony be at 4pm. Tried phoning but no answer. I think it'l probly be the same as every other year, where you can just turn up and get on the first bus available.

I expect that's what it will be too but the only thing that makes me think otherwise is that when I bought my Sunday bus ticket (I haven't bought my Friday one yet) from Buchanan Bus Station, the woman made it clear that they will be strictly sticking to bus times this year because they really struggled last year sending up half empty buses early doors and then packed buses in the middle of the day.

Bought city link tickets from buchanan bus station last week. Was told it's the same as every year, bus every 15 mins and times on tickets arnt worried about.

Good news, dont want to commit to a time for the saturday if i'm ruff from the Friday!!
