The funny thing is that 2018 lineup is actually pretty good in retrospect compared to how poor this could end up being. Opinion aside, you've got two of the most successful bands of their era with FOB and KOL and one of the most celebrated artists of the 21st century with Kendrick. The way things are looking, I doubt we have that level of headliners this time. -
Genuine question, the Mary Chain mean more to me than 99.9% of bands. They got me through my teenage years, and had a formative influence on me. But does anyone really give a f**k what they do now? They're never going to reach those Darklands/Psychocandy heights. I adore this band, but yeah, they're a heritage/retro act now, no doubt about it. Is anybody really excited to see what they do next? Or is the reality that they haven't been vital and truly thrilling for 35 years? Yeah, the new album is 'alright', but no more and you can't in all seriousness say it's epoch defining in the way the first two albums were. -
CMAT, Spiritualized, Hot Chip (albeit DJ set), The Futureheads all nice additions for me there. Shame no Wunderhorse but that’s a weekend ticket for me, desperate to finally tick Pulp off the list -

Feeling like a real stick in the mud looking at that lineup and thinking it's worse than last year for me! But I'm totally aware that it'd go down well with most people so credit to the bookers (well credit for getting Pulp really), bit sad to miss the first Tramlines since 2019 but with gig/festival costs rising can't justify it when there's so much else to spend £££ on now. -
