The incumbent curse, everyone wants everything fixed now...plus labour and Starmer were never that popular, it was mostly about booting out the Tories. Plus the Tory press are going hell for leather with their attacks. It will all come down to the economy and state of public services by next election, and if forecasts are right it won't be great, but might be better in mid 30s.
