Who are you most looking forward to seeing ?

What's at the top of everyone's must see lists for this year's festival ? Is it all about the headline acts or does the undercard appeal more.

I'm torn, if Elbow do some of their earlier stuff they'll be top of the pile but right now I'm looking forward to seeing the augustines most, again ! They never fail to impress me and they're stage performances seem to get better every time

To me the festivals much more about the up and coming acts, they've always ended up being my favorite acts of the weekends but i tend to find them by accident at the festival rather than know them well before hand. There are some good local bands playing, so im hoping they put on the sets they are capable of to give themselves a little boost

But since the thread is asking for 1 act i'll plump for British Sea Power on the woodlands stage, that has the potential to be one of the sets of the weekend.

Its usually bands etc that I look forward to most but if only for a moment in time its DJ Marky for me.

Saw him once at Space Ibiza on the terrace for Carl Cox's night and he was brilliant so I'm hoping to relive that (bound to be a letdown)

Elbow have posted some recent Festival Set Lists on Facebook, and to be honest, it's not what I'd have chosen (no "station approach" for one) nevertheless, still top of my must see list

And after so many on this thread praising them, I'm looking forward to seeing Augustines too.

To be honest if you want the best experience watching them I'd catch them on tour, last time I saw the they had no support and did a near 2 and a half hour set, with acoustic stuff as well as playing in the middle of the crowd. Listening to their recorded stuff you'd think they'd be quite downbeat, they're anything but

Main pull for me is James.... Recently got into Kodaline... Always liked what I'd heard and as they were announced at Kendal I thought I'd purchase their 2 albums... I think their first album is fantastic... Their 2nd isn't as instantly likeable but it's a grower... Looking forward to seeing them for the first band! It's a rarity for me to find a new band who genuinely excite me! Bring it on!

Levellers.  Probably my favourite band.

Aside from them (cos Ive seen them just a few times before  :girlumbrage: )  Augustines probably, along with Less than Jake.  As someone else said - discovering some of the undercard is what I like about Kendal the most.  Ive seen all the headlines (except Snoop) within the last year or so.

Should be a good do!

I haven't seen anyone speak much of the temples. They're a new ish 60s psychedelic rock sort of band. Saw them at glasto last year in john peel and got my thumbs up. Some decent tunes

These?

I didn't even realise they were on the lineup. Definitely looking to see them.

They weren't headlining those though, so hopefully at least a couple of older ones in the other songs they play beyond that. I wouldn't particularly bank on it but its great to see Newborn getting played again recently as I thought that might remain in just the February gigs. That would be amazing after dark with the lights

The list for me is massive:

Elbow, James, vaccines, sunshine underground, augustines, kaiser chiefs (if snoop on last, otherwise will be at TSU), embrace, billy Bragg, temples, kodaline from the acts I really like. And Ella eyre, soul to soul, the horrors and Lucy rose and the levellers from those I like a couple of songs by and then there's a few like walking on cars, Laura doggett and port Isla who I've heard on radio but not listened to much else from.

Absolutely amazing lineup for a smaller festival, there's as much there as I saw at Glastonbury

I am a huge james fan and have been for years but I am really disappointed to read comments on fb from other james fans saying that the rest of the weekend will be a let down once they're slot is done.........what a load of bollocks! They are a bonus addition to the line-up for me but haway they are not going to make the whole weekend!

I saw PSB at Glasto this year and loved them so will def be there. Temples were great at EP last year. Really looking forward to Kate Tempest, Elbow, Vaccines and never seen Snoop so gotta be worth a look see! Oh yeah and I loved the Levellers back in the so that'll be good for a singalong!

Any suggestions for unknown to me bands down the list gratefully received :)
