Is it worth trying a different way? 3.2 miles away & not moving!

I'm just queing 3 miles south of site & others are turning around & driving back towards Shap....is it worth trying a different way or is better to just be patient?!? :-0

We're a mile or so in front of u, we're all trying to get into the same exit however seems to be moving a tad quicker... Just be patient, hold in that excitement, grin&bearit, it'll all be (more than!) worth it in the end

Now 2 hours queuing if you think it's bad on the road wait until you turn into the place at least another hour I reckon as we can see que snaking up the hill!

Left Glasgow at 9-30 & had a clear road until last mile before Emperors, where we joined the Q coming from South. Slowed right down & took around 45 mins from there to tent up.
