Club Class experience. Thoughts?

So people that paid the £30 for club class. What did you think?

My opinion is that I would never pay for it again.

They sold far too many wristbands and the whole 'leave your wellies in the corner' didn't go down well with anyone that I spoke to.

Not really the relaxing lounge experience they marketed :fie:

I thought it was great! Having paid £20 at Glastonbury for a one-off hair wash where you had to stand over a bucket and pump freezing cold water over your head upside down before being given strictly 15 minutes (not a second more!) with a hair dryer and straighteners, I thought £30 for unlimited hot showers and hairstyling from Thursday-Sunday was pretty good!

We got there at about 8am each day and didn't have to queue for either the showers or the hairdryers/straighteners. It wasn't exactly relaxing in the giant communal changing bit but that didn't bother me too much. I'd definitely do it again.

£20 at Glastonbury? Good grief whereabouts was that? We used the free hot showers at Glasto most years and they were great. Head for the bottom of the kids field if you go again, they are marvellous and nobody rushes you! No hairdryer but I can live with that.

I guess I must just have heard from unhappy folk at Kendal. We tried a variety of times and it was always like a free for all. Glad you experience was nicer.

Out of the 20 I went with, 15 of us paid for club class, out of that 15 only 5 ended up using it & wouldnt pay for it again.

seemed a bit of a farce with what they told me.

so feed back to this service was a massive fail.

I thought it was worth it. I went each morning at 7am and used the showers. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes as there were no queues. The toilets were so much better than the regular toilets.

The queue at other times of the day for showers were huge, but even that was just the girls.

I'd say for a guy it's well worth it. Girls queue just looked too big.

I'd definitely use it again. I don't see what the problem is with leaving your wellies a few yards away from where you get changed.

we were all glad we did it, only the male in our party used the showers but the females loved the pamper area, for a girl with curly frizzy hair just being able to straighten it made all the difference.

We would do it again.

The toilets never had queues and were better than a portaloo

i don't see what there was for people to moan about but i overheard them while in there, its a festival for gods sake not the Ritz!
