Do they search for alcohol into campsites?

You're completely allowed to take in drinks of pretty much any sort into the campsite, says so on the actual V Fest site!

 

 

The Arena:

You can bring water and soft drinks (no alcohol) into the arena. It must be in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard containers of not more than 1 litre in size. 

 

The Campsites:

You can bring alcoholic and soft drinks onto the campsites however, there is a strict NO GLASS policy and any glass discovered will be confiscated. 

 

Generally security don't bother with checking if you're underage or not when going into camping, and won't take your alcohol off you. However, they will take it off you if you try to enter the arena with in.

 

Side note: It is possible to sneak alcohol into the arena to avoid pricey drinks/the embarrassment of getting turned away for no ID, i recommend looking at the ideas here, here and here
