The Bestival singles thread!

Hey, I'm a Bestival virgin, and I'm also going on my own now due to a couple of mates bailing out over something trivial like moving to New Zealand or something.

 

Anyone else going it alone and want to do a meetup? Not asking for a crew to spend the weekend following like a sheep, just come back from Boomtown where I knew three separate groups of people and still spent the majority of the weekend doing my own thing.

 

Be nice to have some peeps to catch up with occasionally with, maybe camp with, share a smoke at the end of the night with etc though? Anyone up for that?

The official forum has been a bit of a bugger since they changed it, the old one used to be great and quite active, but then it just got spammed the shit out of so they had to change it. I don't know where I'm gonna be camping yet. I'm not going on my own. But would be happy to maybe meet up with people when over there.

The official Bestival forum has been really quiet this year, but there are a group of us going as usual the more the merrier!

We'll be in blue, just waiting on confirmation that they'll have the sign up for us, otherwise you can find us by a flag.. Photo coming soon..

It's a bit like the Thurs at Glastonbury, a few DJs here & there until morning.

I'm travelling down on my own, and camping with the bestival forum group (tho there probably aren't that many of us this year), so you're welcome to join us.  We haven't exactly figured out where we are camping yet - we normally camp in Blue, but there isn't a Blue this year.  I'll post an update when I know where we are going...

The new stage just been announced. sugar Skulls in the magic meadow. I assume it's the same cocktail bus that was at the common people festival on Southampton. Thst would be an excellent place to have a meet

Are they putting the old forum campsite on the map does anyone know? They used to when I attended but it doesn't seem to be shown this year?

They've changed the campsites, but someone on fbook said they have been in contact and asked where they would like the sign put. I think they've asked for the top left triangle section of Black campsite
