Now I await the arrival of Retromoz to say which hidden genius in the Sunrise (nobody else notice it's gone back it its proper name?) I've overlooked.

honestly? The only thing i like (or rather, KNOW i like.....) is Money. And that depends on what 'mood' singer man Jamie Lee is in. I saw them at Latitude in....2013? I think? And they were BRILLIANT in a early Verve way. I've seen them twice since, and they've been a bit of a mess.

BUT...their new album is great (As is their debut). And, i believe, he's off the alchohol now, which affected his performances in the past. which is nice.

That was the was tour where he did the whole start singing in the audience and kiss a random male/ pour a can over yourself

Onwards and upwards to the next music announcement....  Going on last year's programme, there's still the following gaps to be filled:

Obelisk:  3

And the lunchtime Sunday slot.

Here's some names I'd like to see - all on tour at or around the time.

Obelisk:
Booker T (Cornbury)
The Zombies (Cornbury)
Afro Celt Sound System (Larmer Tree)

Scary:
Jagwar Ma (Bilbao)
Roisin Murphy (Longitude)
Sleaford Mods (Melt!)
Anna Calvi (Deer Shed)
Field Music (SGP)
Hinds (Benacassim)
Slaves (TITP)
C Duncan (SGP)

Sunrise:
Lonelady (Deer Shed)
Jane Weaver (Larmer Tree)
This Is The Kit (Larmer Tree)
Kero Kero Bonito (Benicassim)
Misty Miller (Deer Shed)
All We Are (Tramlines)
Laura J Martin (Tramlines)

Sunday Lunch:
George Clinton (Lovebox) (or a complete curveball that I couldn't possibly imagine).

Oh cheers, I thought there were opening hours for some reason, must have it mixed up with somewhere else!

I'm pretty sure there's a very small window between like 6 and 9 where they shut it down. I have memories of being up early enough to have to sit outside of the arena and wait for it to be opened. Been in there until between 4 and half past and not seen any signs of anybody wanting to clear us out though.

Did everyone like their neighbours last year?

We met some really great people, ended up hanging around with them all weekend.

Them being local to the festival and us from 'UP NORFF' it was a lovely little friendship builder.

Is the general camping ok? We normally opt for family camping at other festivals but there's no one in our group under 16 this year. Can u still find quieter spots. Not that I'm unsociable!

Having been to Leeds Festival on a few occasions we found Latitude fantastic.

Can't vouch for everyone but I literally didn't encounter what I'd describe as "Idiots" the whole weekend.

General camping was also pretty quiet by like midnight where we were, could get a pretty decent night sleep.

5 idiot free years over here. We camp quite far away from the arena, never any trouble with anything at all. Not even really seen anybody lairy. Never had any people being loud when I'm going to sleep (which is something I pretty much expect at festivals anyway), so actual idiots are pretty much unheard of. I wasn't there before the nasty incidents, but I can't see anything like that happening now, regular steward patrols and everywhere is well lit.

That's reassuring- last year at Greenman there were two middle aged women in tent to my right talking loudly til dawn about what bastards  their exhusbands were and teenagers in the tent to my left discussing Pokemon til 5am.

That sounds great. As veteran visitor how easy it to get a good spot  for headline performers. One of the things I've always liked about Glastonbury is once the initial crush is over you can usually get a good spot. Other festivals not so good.

Yeah I think sometimes you just strike it unlucky, I suppose you just have to realise this might peoples only week off from very stressful lives so they want to make the most of it.

I strongly advise that you purchase foam earplugs, work wonders :)

It is far easier to get down the front comfortably than it is at Glastonbury, so if you find Glastonbury easy you will have no problems at all. You'll wonder where everyone else is by comparison. How, by the way, do you find Glastonbury easy? I never bother with the Pyramid headliners because the crowds freak me out. How close to the stage do you get?

If you walk along the side of the field towards the front whilst the act before the headliner is nearly over its usually pretty easy to just slip in to the front circle as everybody starts moving around after they finish. Never had a problem getting near the front if I really wanted to, and haven't really even had to push my way in

Fortune favours the brave I guess - you'll find Latitude a breeze!

Yeah I agree. It doesn't bother me really - it's actually fascinating hearing a snapshot of other people's lives. Especially when ur a nosy sod like me!

Yep done that. First can I make it clear I usually don't care too much for headliners at Glastonbury I usually spend most of my time at the Park Stage and happy to be nearer the bar than the front.    I've also found that approaching directly from the side of the pyramid after the band has been on a while works.

I'm not that into the headliners either but the occasional one grabs my attention. I find approaching from the side ajacent to front of the stage (by the burger van) after the band has been on a while works or as floorfiller says going in just after the preceding act is good (can make for a long time to a toilet break though! No for most of this announcement I'll be happy anywhere but just planning ahead for when the National are on!
