If you translate the comments on the Facebook page it looks like we can still expect at least 1 fairly big name. They said announcements will be "soon", which they always say. But also said "You will be happy!", which they don't always say.

Can't believe people are moaning on Facebook as they do every year, the lineup is spot on, something different to what they've had previously but still with very credible acts.

Ask your friend why AM would perform anywhere this year when their last album was 2013 and Alex Turner is currently touring TLSP album.

Does anyone know how much a taxi would be from Valencia? Our flight only gets in at 8.25pm and looking at the times in June the last train from Estacio del Nord goes at 8.35?

Looking online all transfers are during the day :(

There are local trains "Cercanias" from Valencia as far as Castellon, takes about 1hr15m, you could then get a taxi from Castellon to Benicassim. Don't know your day of arrival but typical last departure times are 20.25, 21.12. 21.48 and 22.27.

Or you could just stay the night in Valencia!

We are arriving Weds night, doing a few days in Valencia before flying back, we want to get straight to Beni and start the fun.

Didn't think of Castellon.

Cheers

As I'm from Scotland camping in the sun is not something I'm used to, is it unbearable with how hot it is?

You will manage to get a few hours sleep if it's not the heat that wakes you it will be the hangover. I slept most of the time outside my tent as it was a little cooler. Although on a bad hangover sweated it out in the tent :). Also I napped for an hour or so around 6/7pm to prep me for the night ahead.

From Scotland as well mate and camped the last two years. Admittedly it is a graft, and we're getting an apartment this year, but you grind it out, tend to kip down the beach and like previously mentioned maybe a wee disco nap in the evening.

I'm actually a wee bit disappointed I'll be missing out on the campsite atmosphere this year in all honesty!

Hi folks,

First time attending Beni this year so I've got a couple of questions:

I'll be staying in Barcelona for a few days before travelling down. Is it best to get the train down or one of the scheduled airport transfers? I had visions of the train being packed?

During the festival I'll be staying in Oropesa del Mar. Is the shuttle bus advertised on the Beni site the best for getting from hotel to the festival?

Thanks

Get a hotel / apartment / airbnb. You'll enjoy it a lot more. More sleep and a pool to be by all day. It's well worth forking out for.

I love camping though, can't imagine a festival without camping. Is it unbearably hot, I've been to Sziget festival before and yeah it was very hot (for a Scotsman) but I could last it with the water vapour being poured on us throughout the day. I can imagine the worst part is waking up in a boiling tent to 20 degrees plus.

Make that 30 degrees plus. It gets to about 38 by midday.

If you book a train in advance, you should be advised of a specific carriage & seat number. It's a nice, comfortable, 2-3 hour journey down to Beni on the train, from Sants train station.  Coaches only go from airport, so if you're staying in Barca city for a few days prior, you're as well pre booking the train.

Fingers crossed Honeybane though I'm happy with the line up.

Do we get more djs? I'm hoping for a bit of Todd Terje!

Some more DJs will be announced. These will probably only be announced a few weeks prior though, with the last set of names. Todd Terje would be great, as would Julio Bashmore & MK.
