The boss of Pinkpop has said that PJ won't be in Europe, so I can't see it happening

Not sure why I posted that tbh, just frustrating waiting for this bloody line up. Only likely contenders are Neil Young, Elvis Costello, My Morning Jacket and possibly Lauryn Hill I suppose.

For anyone not on there, Gabi Ruiz is back on the forum and replied to the rumour Albert mentions with (using google translate):

"Hahaha ... Deep Throat? The poster is closed for some time and the announcement date is the same as ever. 
Good night, indeed. I have recovered password."

Elvis Costello has been requested & rumoured for a few years now, i think he'd go down a treat.  Really hope they've booked him, the tour dates fit.

Yes, that's what he said. Google translate did an alright job this time.

At The Drive-In teasing something to be announced on the 21st...

Apparently the band has yet to confirm their return (despite being on festival posters) and are expected to do so this week. That shoes in nicely with the poster reveal.

If we're to have any of this for PS then the Porto edition is going to look very different to the Barcelona one.

Sure they will, why not? Costello is a great artist and has very high 'indie credibility' or whatever it is that makes bands fit primavera. I know Pitchfork isn't always indicative, but he has 3 albums with 9.5 or above on Pitchfork - with 'This Year's Model' getting a perfect 10. And maybe his second masterpiece, 'Imperial Bedroom', wasn't reviewed, I'd say it has a solid chance of 10.0 as well.

I think LCD Soundsystem, Ween and Tame Impala would be in both PS and Bonnaroo.

Looking at the GB and Bonaroo line ups, LCD could play Barcelona and Porto if they do the first night at Porto and last night at Bonaroo. Same goes for Tame Impala (could explain the late night set)

If I were a bookmaker, I'd be offering odds a bit less than 2:1 on this week, 2:1 on next week and 3:1 in early February. Reason for delay being Radiohead around 10:1.
