DDave
I'll be rocking up at the start of the set, stand fairly near to the bar and seeing what gives.
kingcoma
What is the deal with the bars at Prima? As in, what time do they close, what kinda stuff do they serve, what are rough prices, can you drink freely throughout the festival site, etc
Messy
5 euros for 500ml(I think?) of Heineken, spirits similarly priced. 5 or so bars that are open until the music stops, can drink anywhere. There's a wee shop before the festival site as you walk from the underground stop that sells miniature bottles of spirits for a couple bob which is a decent option, easy to sneak in. Canavaro83
And a lot of people trying to sell you cans of budget lager outside!

Hip Priest
According to Gabi, there will be extra security at the entrance this year, prompted by recent terror attacks, so smuggling drink in mightn't be as easy as in other years Edited May 6, 2016 by Hip Priest
DDave
And that's all the tickets sold out. What a year we've picked to go.
Bort
Radiohead, The Avalanches, Sigur Ros, and they just might address the Lush issue? Yeah, it's going to be legendary.
xxialac
The new Radiohead album is absolutely sublime. Such rich instrumentation and all the songs we had heard in acoustic format are better on record. Can't wait to hear it live.

Amsterdam in under 2 weeks, London in under 3, Primavera in under 4. Excited doesn't quite cut it.
xxialac
Hidden Tracks launched today I'd guess?
duckula
First timer question here - can you pay at the bars/food/merch by credit card and are there ridiculous fees?
xxialac
Cash only. Bring cash.

There was a stupid token system a few years back which was a total failure so they went back to unbeatable cash. If you're used to UK festivals, the queues in Primavera are much, much shorter (bars are everywhere).

Bort
So who has the best cell service at the festival? Going to have to buy a local SIM card when I arrive.
jeffroTull
On the topic of cash - definitely bring it to the festival. They have ATM machines (may be only one?) at the festival, but the line is usually insane.
StephenF
And last year they pulled the tobacco machines....at the last minute....leaving me smokeless!!! Bring plenty of death sticks as you will be there for hours..

drumsand2ba
note beer from "ambulatory bars" i.e. sellers with beer tanks on their back are more expensive than from bars.

But I'm probably just as excited about seeing The Avalanches too...
