Bestival 2016 Headliners?

More of a lurker than a poster but can anyone tell me what Bestival's like when it comes to sharing smaller acts with other UK fests? Going to just about all the other major ones this year and would love to catch PUP seeing as they don't really tour over here, but can't justify the extra money and travel hassle for such a small slot.

Starting to wonder if he's gone and got Tame Impala back. Absent from UK festivals thus far with no real place to slot in anywhere else, and they're headlining Bestival Toronto alongside The Cure. Would be weird with them doing last year's but I guess stuff like that happens sometimes - might be too big next time they tour after all.

nope

Could it be McCartney?

Or is he way too large

If they didn't already have a massive headliner in The Cure I'd say it's possible (same level as Stevie really) but I can't see them getting both in one year. Think it'll be an act closer in size to Major Lazer than your average big time festival headliner

I really can't get a handle on how "big" the Cure are, if it's their fee we're talking about.  They're able to sell out arenas around the world because they've got a devoted fanbase, but outside of that fanbase how in demand are they?

Is a stop on their world tour going to cost Bestival as much as it did to get Missy Elliott to play a world exclusive and very rare live show last year, for example?  Do the Cure, who've been touring regularly for three decades, command as big a fee as, say, OutKast when their comeback tour was the first in about 8 years and limited to 40 dates?

noel Gallagher by any chance? i'm not an expert on what type of artists bestival get so don't slay me.

Anyway seems no one is booked yet as Rob was trying get Prince and thought he close it :( ...So it seems there is a bit of a budget left!!

Maybe Muse? Glasto wouldn't have an exclusive on them this year, unless they are stopping the tour early/going be elsewhere
