Idioteque18
I think for a lot of people, it will depend on how their new album is. Looking at their past setlist for 'The King of Limbs' tour, they usually do more songs off their new album, whilst more recognizable songs may not be played, so like i said, i think that will play a big part in it for some people. For me personally though, they can't be missed.

When i saw them in that tour, they played Climbing up the Walls, Paranoid Android, Lucky and Exit Músic (all from OK computer), closed their set with street spirit (the bends). And some songs from in rainbows (15 atros, reckoner, nude, weird fishes) amnesiac (pyramid song, I might be wrong) and kid A (idioteque, everything). All in the same set! oh and from HTTT (there there and myxomatosis). Seems pretty diverse for me! Edited February 20, 2016 by Mirror

The kills and metronomy played only after radiohead ended. It is likely to happen this year too. The same with Arcade Fire too. If it doesnt i wouldn't recommend missing radiohead. It is the best live act I've seen. Their sound is amazing, complemented by a incredible light show. Their music might not be your cup of tea, but they are amazing and unique live, see them once and try to be close to the stage. Seems odd to close the Heineken stage but I hope that happens!! Surely the whole point of putting a strong band on 2nd stage is to try and spread the crowd out a bit? If everyone watches the same bandthe crowd would almost go back as far as the Heineken stage, some sight that would be though!
yaniv297
I'm a bit of a Radiohead expert, been following setlists since 2006, I tried to predict the setlist a few pages ago... Based on their last tour, I'd anticipate something like this: 7-8 new album tracks. 4-5 In Rainbows/King of Limbs tracks. Lots of IR songs remained regulars in the TKOL tour - Reckoner, Arpeggi, Nude are the most prominent, also Bodysnathers and 15 Step. It's hard to predict which TKOL songs would make it to the new tour, but if I have to guess, Lotus Flower and Bloom will be common. 5-6 Kid A-HTTT staples - Idioteque, Everything In It's Right Place and There There are almost certain. Pyramid Song, National Anthem, Myxomatosis are likely, also the band have a strange liking to The Gloaming) 3-4 OK Computer/Bends tracks thrown in (Most common are Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Lucky and Airbag. Street Spirit, Exit Music, Climbing up the Walls and Planet Telex are rarer). Plus a track or two nobody can predict... last tour they did The Amazing Sound of Orgy, stuff like that. Major songs that have very little chance of appearing: Creep, High and Dry, Just, My Iron Lung, The Bends, Fake Plastic Trees. None of those were played even once during the last tour. So the setlist would probably be something like (no order): 1-8. new album tracks 9. Reckoner 10. Nude 11. Arpeggi 12. Lotus Flower 13. Bloom 14. There There 15. Gloaming 16. Idioteque 17. Everything In It's Right Place 18, National Anthem 19. Paranoid Android 20. Karma Police 21-22. Two further OKC/Bends tracks (Lucky/Street Spirit/Exit Music/Airbag/Climbing Up the Walls/Telex). 23-24. Another one or two randomly picked catalog tracks (Kid A? Pyramid? Myxo? I Might be Wrong? Talk Show Host? Twisted Words? How to Disappear? could be anything really). This is just a guess but based on previous tours, I believe I'll get right at least 15 tracks. Happy to see I'm not the only one with such an obsessive setlist mania! Have been doing it for Radiohead as well the last two tours, so I completely agree with your analysis. Only things I'm curious about: will they adjust their setlist for these festival shows (don't believe they did when I saw them at Rock Werchter) and what set time will they get at NOS? Can anyone here that's been before tell me how long the headliners usually play?

Can anyone here that's been before tell me how long the headliners usually play? 1. Nope. They played this setlist at Coachella, maybe the most commercial festival of all. They don't seem to give a damn about festivals or not. The only difference I can tell is that 'Paranoid Android' seems to feature in every festival set (and 'Karma Police' in most), while both are sometimes excluded from normal shows. The only time I ever recall they did a 'greatest hits' set was Reading in 2009. 5 OKC tracks, 2 Bends and Creep in the same show! that's insane for them. 2. In most festivals they played 21-24 songs. Think you'll get something similar at NOS. Edited February 21, 2016 by yaniv297

In fairness, it isn't just V that seems to have a bit of an underwhelming line-up this year. All of the major UK festivals that have announced a decent amount just seem a bit lacking in comparison! Maybe it's all just down to personal taste, though...

They'd really be a welcome addition to the line up for me! Hopefully them & TLSP being added soon! I agree with what people are saying about the UK Line-Ups this year. I'm the biggest Glastonbury fan but it's obvious this year is going to be Adele, Muse & Coldplay headlining and that's just not a big deal at all because the three of them are SO overly accessible at the moment (Maybe not Adele? But even so, she's hardly going to bring the house down!). Don't even get me started on VFestival... bleurgh!!!
ParanoidTourist
I would totally be ok with Travis as well=) Also, just read that Richard Ashcroft is due with a new album soon. He could be a nice addition.

aj3000and12
Yikes how has this thread gone from "best lineup ever!" to "Travis would do" in just a couple of weeks. Finge
NOS had this great buzz and pace in announcing new names which is completely gone now. I miss the days when we had 2/3 new names each weak, when there was no announcement on monday you could be 90% sure we would get something on tuesday. I'm checking social media each day but the only news is that they have a new premium sponsor. So hopefully this means budget for some new announcements. It is a very odd feeling of frustration isn't it. It is already an extremely good line up, yet the promise of more acts makes me feel a bit annoyed when there isn't a big announcement every week.Basically, we've all been a bit spoilt... I suppose the problem with announcing acts one by one instead of in chunks is that not every announcement will be as big as the last, and they have to pace themselves a bit otherwise there will be nothing to announce for the next five months. Mirror
Relax guys, we already have lots of great names. I haven't been impressed with other festivals announced. Every time I walk the streets of Lisbon and see a poster for NOS I get all excited to see the line-up. Having Arcade Fire and Radiohead at the same festival is a dream come true. For me only Primavera Barcelona has such a exciting line up (even looking at North American festivals). And I'm pretty sure other great names will be announced over the next months. Richi1988
Agreed! We should all just sit tight and patiently wait for the rest of the line up. To be fair the band's already announced have more than covered the ticket price ☺
