I wasn't trying for me but for 3 different sets of other people. I got nowhere near, and the friends who helped me last year didn't even get through for all of their immediate group.

So - I'm glad I didn't want to go next year because I would have been stuffed!

However - having checked around it seems that everyone I was trying for did get theirs! I really should have just stayed in bed!

120k is NOT sold out, some tickets being held back, more like, clever or shoddy Glasto markieting so Emily can preen on her Twitter feed 'Oh didnt we do well again', If you didnt get yours, you've prob still got a good 70% chance in April when they decide to release the rest and the cancelled tickets.  Got mine BTW, dont despair if you didnt get yours

My sympathies to anyone who didn't get tickets this morning; that happened to me last year and I'm familiar with the horrible sinking feeling you get when you see it's sold out.

 

Reason for posting this is to say that I still got to Glastonbury 2015 - we got tickets in the coach resale and tens of thousands of others did too.

 

I know it's horrible not knowing, but just don't want people thinking that's it. It isn't.

 

Same for us last year, missed out in October but got tickets in the resale.  Just got six months of agony to put up with. :-(

Friend got through to the payment pages but it kept failing, lots of people with the same experience and that's the one critique I'd have of See. 

 

Ah well, resale it is! Not experienced that to get my own ticket since 2011, so it should be fun...

Eavis must have been looking out for me. I managed to close my browser by accident on the booking page and when going back to seetickets got straight to the booking page.

This with knobs on. I did the same in 2014. The feeling when you don't get tickets is awful. The feeling when you get tickets is scary. Good luck to every one.

First year of trying that our group failed. 6 out of 36 were lucky. Really pleased for all those that have their golden ticket. Gutted for the rest of us. Ah well, it is only a festival........

No luck this year after 6 years straight , 5 of us trying from different locations on more than one device. Two got through to enter registrations and payment details but it was right at the end , no confirmation or money gone so odds are they weren't successful. I'm not sure about retrying in April as i may have made other plans by then, the Euros are then so might fancy a trip to France with the lads.

Nal we've got through from Dublin most years and usually have a few people getting through.

 

Much harder this year, I know they say it's not geographic but it's strange usually most of us get somewhere,but today and Thurs it was a struggle to get on to the holding page for most of us.

First time in 9 years I have been unable to get tickets and I'm devistated, I never even got near a holding page the whole time they were onsale.   I won't say seetickets are useless as I can't see a fairer way to sell tickets as demand is so  hight.  Well done to everyone that got tickets and I hope you have an amazing time.

Steve - that's really shit, feeling for you. I got them for whole family - first time since 2012 (correction 2011)we are all going. God it was stressful tho. I hope you and bro manage to get them or at least have a good trip to France. Having said that after England rugby team debacle last night not sure following national sports teams is an enjoyable exercise. Any way take care either way.

It's all down to luck. I've been lucky enough to get tickets the last 9 times and it's been just myself and someone else trying to get tickets and i've managed to get through myself 8 times.

 

If you really want to go i'm sure you will get tickets in the re-sale. The first timers and non-dedicated who didn't get tickets today will probably organise something else to do in June

Bit of a random one this year. Flying from Singapore to London right now, managed to get 3 hours of WIFI for $16 and bagged two 5 minutes before selling out! Now, where's that stewardess button? I need a fucking drink! 

 

Got 1 hour of WIFI left to check these threads out now.

Agreed, the amount of bellends and hangers on that  pick up tickets outside of the sale from record labels and media companies should be cut down by a few and a couple of tickets supplied to those that run e fests I reckon,
