Not really sure how accurate the awards actually are as there is no option to not vote for events that you haven't attended.

the festival nominate themselves, and the awards are voted for by people who didn't go to that festival.

Id assume that too, people will vote who ain't ever been there and just saw some video on youtube or something.

I went to vote, thought about what other efesters have previously said about their experiences, decided not to vote, then saw you can win a load of tickets as an incentive.

Winning tickets is about the only reason I bother.

Its going through the categories and festivals you can vote for in each, that really shows you how much of a bollocks it is!
