Its times like these that you wish Stewart Lee was a) on twitter and b ) telling his side of the story. After curating a bill of bands he loves, having some not being paid is shocking.....

Its all a bit sad.

It makes you wonder how Capsule can run a festival of 'difficult' music, Supersonic, in the cultural wastelands of Not London without going bust over and over again.  Maybe it's because they don't have the Galtres model of financing?

Having said that we had an awesome time. The Boredoms, The Raincoats, The Fall and Sun Ra were incredible and saw so much fun  and interesting stuff across the bill. Also the holiday camp aspect is a fun twist. Just such a shame that atp are so bad at it!

I'd definitely be wary of booking something with them again.

The money never arrived, and following the festival cancellation, El Vez singer Robert Lopez told the Guardian he is now planning legal action against Hogan to get the money back. "

Has anybody had a refund for the cancelled one yet? Got an automated email 18th April saying we would "as soon as possible", whatever that means.

Yep. Shame as the weekenders were great fun and they generally book really good bands for their shows. Pieces of shit though really, weren't they.
