Well if they're going with the whole 'Dawn Chorus' thing you'd imagine they'd drop it at dawn.

...I guess what I'm saying is, what time do I need to set my alarm for tomorrow? :P

That's exactly what I was thinking! Could it be out when we all wake up tomorrow morning? (Unless you're mental and get up before half 5 on a sunday)

Well I've got tweet notifications on my phone for Radiohead, so hopefully that'll be loud enough to wake me up if it happens!

Currently on the Isle of Harris will little or know phone reception never mind 4G. Hotel WiFi seems decent so if the album is streamable by the time I get up tomorrow I might be in luck. Otherwise realistically it'll be Wednesday night when I get home before I'll be able to get a proper listen.

Drop it now Thom, drop it now!

Nah. trust no one, he sounds like a bullshit merchant. If you've somehow got a copy early you don't say it 'sounds interesting' and ' not had time to complete it yet.'

He's also got pictures on Instagram from 6 months ago from that studio saying Radiohead had been there the previous week. That was around the time Nigel uploaded those pics of them in the studio - it hadn't been identified at that point. He might be bullshitting but I think there's a decent chance he isn't.

I feel like when this album drops the hype is going to be unbelievable. Not just in our circles but in the wider music world too. It's fascinating how their minimal marketing approach can generate such interest. There are reports from loads of mainstream outlets about those leaflets.

There is a fair amount of hype, but I think it's partly dependent on the sort of websites and news outlets we tend to look at. In a wider sense it won't have even the hype of that recent Beyonce album IMO. Not that it really matters, of course...

I think radiohead generate the hype just because of how secret the band work and with the big gaps between new music.

Beyonce probably doesn't go a week where she isn't in the media
