South side cancelled due to bad weather apparently

i was there at Southside Festival. On the day 35degrees and in the evening a huge thunderstorm :-( Saw Balthazar, Tom Odell & Bear's Den then they cancelled everything....

Wow! How did you handle the disappointment? Is there a refund or something? I know it doesn't help right now..

huuuuuuuuuge disappointment, i can tell you! it was my 15th Southside Festival.. so I know what i missed :-( refund etc. will take time, there is a lot of time till june 17.... but that's life, festivals are outdoors... that's what it looked like at 8 in the evening...:

Wow, I hadn't realised that Southside was cancelled completely!

We were at Hurricane and thought that only getting 1 full day was bad enough. Given what happened at RAR this year as well, it looks like the Germany authorities are being really strict on the festivals at the minute. Still, better safe than sorry.

Hopefully they will offer a reasonable refund package (I notice that the official site has been quiet since).
