Wireless Festival 2016

Rihanna's tour has sold terribly. You can still get pitch standing, golden circle standing and top price seating for every date of the U.K. tour. Not a chance she'd be able to do Wireless and Wembley.

This is a bit of a different suggestion but I've heard rumours that Madonna's tour is heading back to Europe for a summer leg. Given her deal with Live Nation, do you think she could be a shout for this? Stick a few of the names she has on her album underneath (Diplo, Chance the Rapper, Nas) and you could end up with a pretty strong lineup.

Madonna is a perfectionist if nothing else, I'm not sure if she'd compromise enough on her production to play Wireless.

 

Then again she has done Radio 1's Big Weekend & Coachella in the past so it's not impossible.

There's some guy on facebook claiming Chase n Status and Calvin Harris are headlining but they're struggling to get a line up together which is why they've not announced anything. Think they're forgetting they need time to sell tickets.

I think that's more likely to be the problem, can't see them getting a licence to do it in Finsbury park again.

It's now been a month since Wireless' Facebook confirmed that an announcement would be "in weeks, not months". Looks like their organising hasn't gotten any better.

Same weekend as EDC so wouldn't be surprised to see Axwell x Ingrosso / Martin Garrix high up on the bill. Very few acts could possibly convince to attend another Wireless at Finsbury Park, a live Pendulum set being one, but we'll have to see I guess.

Same weekend as 2000 trees so I'm out. Can't say I'm too gutted as I only really went to have a weekend away with my mate who is in to his hip hop and dancey stuff. It being back at finsbury park definitely won't make me miss not going.

Calvin, Chase n status and macklemore I'm going for, with an outside guess of Will Smith. Presumably this will be in the digital version of the metro which I think I'm right in thinking goes live at midnight?

Yeah Macklemore has to look pretty likely. Tour dates work perfectly, fits the demo like a glove, not playing anywhere else, etc etc etc.
