Breaking Bands Festival
Name of event: Breaking Bands Festival Location: Stoke Prior Sports Club, Bromsgrove, B60 4AL Date: 27th-30th May 2016 Tickets: Weekend on sale £30 no fees, free camping, under14's go free Breaking Bands Festival hits a second year with another line-up of unsigned and independent rock, punk and metal bands around. Last year sold out 6 weeks in advance which was the very first one and this year is set to do the same. A list of bands that most people won't have heard of but also names that are playing the big festivals so a real mix of rock, punk and metal across the board. Bringing in a band that have been around for over 10 years but never played in the UK is Scandinavian rockers Evil Masquerade who headline on the Saturday night with their UK first exclusive event. Having played Bloodstock last year, booked in for Hammerfest this year and managed very successful UK tours is Reign of Fury who headline Friday night. Closing the festival is our very special guest band. Each year we aim to have a big name closer that is there to entertain the bands as well as the fans. We have Wolfsbane front man and ex Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley checking in with us this year at the end of a 59 gig tour on his 53rd Birthday too. A guaranteed way to end the weekend on a high. Full main stage line-up for the 3 day event is: A Jokers Rage, A Tower Of Crows, BedHed, Black Star Bullet, Black Whiskey, Blaze Bayley, Bloodyard, Chasing Dragons, Crash in Clouds, Crashgate, Crowsaw, Evil Masquerade, Godslave, Guts For Glory, Hell's Addiction, Kill All The Gentlemen, Mad Hatter 2.0, Metaprism, Reign Of Fury, Silent Jack, Skarthia, Superhooch, Thunderfuck and the Deadly Romantics, Trucker Diablo, Valous, Welcome Back Delta, Wretched Toad. On top of all this is the outside acoustic stage which went down a storm in 2015 (great weather = great crowds!). The acoustic stage will be live between main stage sets to keep the crowds entertained throughout the weekend. Add to this the Wild West theme for the festival as voted for by the fans, Breaking Bands Festival is set to once again be a big hitter in the festival scene. Tickets for the weekend are just £30 with no fees and include free camping. Kids under 14 get in free with paying adults.
