My 9 year old didn't appreciate Tame Impala and we had to leave early from their set. Sounded great though.

So yesterday we had Take That, Paloma Faith, Slaves, someone with Chase & Status, and Baba Maal.

Yeah, Kygo aside the Main Stage feels a lot stronger today than yesterday so special guests seem a lot less 'necessary', if you will

Foxes turned up with Kygo, maybe Tove Lo with Years and Years? Nothing obvious other than that though. Beyonce turning up with both The Weeknd and Coldplay would have been half a shout if it wasn't another month until she started touring over here

Yesterday we stayed at the main stage at the back fence all day until Coldplay. I agree that it was much stronger than Saturday as we left early Saturday because of trains, but we weren't bothered. Then yesterday we took the car. Anyone else who drove had problems getting out? *lol*

Great weekend though in general.

great weekend - just need to get acclimatised to heat and being on my feet all day - felt really wiped yesterday. Apparently grime was the big thing of the weekend - did i miss that? Who were the Grimers?

Grime was represented by STORMZY on Saturday and SKEPTA on Sunday. SKEPTA had Lethal Bizzle on as guest. Was amazing.

The shuttles were a nightmare on the way out, left standing around for hours and almost missed my 1.30am coach from exeter station despite finishing at 10pm!

Highlights for me were Spring King, Declan McKenna, Izzy Bizu and Kyko on the BBC introducing; Biffy Clyro, Bring Me, Tame Impala and Chvrches on the INMWT stage and Onerepublic, SIGMA and The 1975 on the main stage.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention Reues Elijah on BBC introducing. Amazing energy on stage and choreographed synchronised dancers for his songs joining in with the dancers between verses.
