This! @Skip997, you're a cheeky monkey! They have always been a proper, 'musician's' band, whether you like them or not. The first two records are stone cold classics and they have managed to maintain quality throughout a career chequered by bust-ups between Roland and Curt. I saw them on the Songs From The Big Chair tour in 1985 and they were amazing. I'm the person just about the least nostalgic about bands in general, including those I loved in my youth, but I would be ALL over this. However, (1) they probably would want more money than GFL will offer and (2) I just don't think GFL would give them the sort of slot they would expect. The only way I could see it is a 'secret' Churnups-type slot. And I'd be there with bells on.

I would have loved to have seen T Rex, (ive got Cosmic Dancer pencilled in for my funeral song )what a superb talent.
What did the young Ayrshire Chris make of it?
