Odds on for me at the moment, James and Happy Mondays to be added. Both doing or have finished tours recently. Playing festival dates right up and around this. Would make sense and kind of bands they attract at Victorious.

Ot bothered about Happy Mondays but James would be good.

Can't see James happening, that would be two of Beautiful Days headliners playing lower slots elsewhere.

Happy Mondays don't really seem to fit under the headliners either, would have been better last year under Primal Scream [I know they didn't headline]

Id LOVE Ashcroft to be added as a sub on main, that would be awesome, and as he's doing some solo gigs and new album coming, might happen.

Ocean Colour Scene, The Bluetones and Shed Seven would all work lovely under Noel as well.

Hopefully the names are a little better than that

Much smaller festival though, so would it really matter? And still a good two hours and a half travelling distance between the two. Only 15,000 for Beautiful days. Already have The Coral and Levellers playing so there's sharing in acts to a small point. Taking a proper look at their line-up Proclaimers could be a shout for Sunday afternoon slot if Travis doesn't occur like a lot seem to think on here.

True about HM's but then they weren't touring last year during festival season where they? So wouldn't have worked out.

Happy Monday's could play 3rd or 4th from the top on the Castle stage on Ronson's day. Monday's fall into the dance category, ish.

I was thinking this, but then thought Ashcroft was to big to play any slot but headline at Victorious. More I think about it he could sub either day though right? Looking at his live dates currently he's playing the Albert Hall and Roundhouse, venue the likes of The Coral and Primal Scream are playing.

Yeah...OCS would be a good shout as sub for Noel. A Shed Seven mid afternoon slot would go down well.

I seriously doubt we will get Neck Deep or Creeper.

Doesn't seem Victorious like rock acts, all the ones that played at Y Not last year, not one played.

Editors would work well under Manics IMO, I'd love that. Hope we don't get Catfish tho, shite.

Creeper live down the road, partially why I reckon they'll get booked. Also got the time to do so during R&L stint as they have Sat or Sunday off I can't remember. Agreed om Catfish though.

I'd be okay with both Editors and Catfish.

Catfish subbing Noel seems inevitable

Only thing I'm holding onto regarding Catfish not playing is that they aren't a 'Victorious' booking. But the fact they're not doing R&L as of the moment is also worrying.

And they won't be added as there isn't any room. I'm not too fussed on Noel but Catfish, Ash and Noel on one day for £27 with others meaning I won't have to try cram into the JP tent at Glasto provided that's where they are sounds good.

How about Richard Ashcroft subbing under Noel? Got a new album out and they're mates.

Think someone mentioned it a page or so ago. Hoping this is who they get instead of CATBM. More of a Victorious booking to. But it Catfish subbing Noel is happening at a few similar size festivals to this.

Ashcroft doing Scarborough fair, fraction of the size of Victorious, but adds fuel to possibility of him being there. Maybe I missed the boat but aren't editors a bit high to be subbing? They where big a while bag, but wouldn't compare them even to Primal Scream myself. Maybe I missed the boat?

They're headlining 'Y-Not' alongside Noel & Madness, with CFTBM subbing (on a different day), so probably would be considered a decent sub-for Noel? Wonder with them if its because they don't seem to do that many fests, in that they're not one of them taking a carpet bombing approach to their festival calender (yeah, you know who I'm talking about Noel/CATBM)

Ashcroft doing IOW makes him less likely.

In terms of geographical proximity to Victorious? He seems to be a bit of an odd one. Looks like he is subbing IOW which is 90,000 capacity, and headlining Scarborough Fair which is only 8,000 capacity. Quite a big difference.

Yup, in proximity. Although IOW is earlier than a lot of the others. So I suppose still possible?

Yeah...hopefully. Richard Ashcroft into Noel would be an incredible end to the weekend.

IOW is an odd one, used to go most years. They tended to have great headliners and a (largely) crap undercard but this year they seem to have dispensed with the great headliners bit as well now. Queen and The Who. FFS. They've basically booked 2 tribute acts as headliners for virtually same price as Glastonbury. They're essentially charging Waitrose prices for Poundland products.

Only just bought my tickets, nearly forgot before the price increase! Doesn't look like we will be getting an announcement until after the increase now.

Must have had strong sales from first announcement so waiting for increase for next announcement, although I notice theres now 4 price stages when im sure last year there were only 3, so maybe thats the difference.
