if youre gonna take some stuff put it either in your tent bag or bottom of your rucksack. noveltyukid is opening soon which is a trusted fake id webite so you could get an id from there? take either all your food with you or a lot of money to get food there. one 12" pizza is like £10 and a small tub of ben and jerries is a fiver. maybe a solar powered phone charger is an idea as well as a small brick phone which will always have signal and battery for you to text your mates when you become separated...

maybe get a girl to carry it in her stuff. girls are NEVER searched

Firstly, well done on choosing to go to a festival for the first time! I've had the best time of my life at festivals, there's always good craic to be had so I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Now, about the booze. Don't listen to Mandymember - fake ID's are a waste of your money. Those websites will take your money, give you a shitty ID which, if checked, will be taken off you and you may well not be allowed into the festival. I occasionally do door work and every where I have ever been, I've been told we have to alert the police if we get an ID we reckon is fake.  Not worth your time nor cash.

Ask around, you're more than likely to know a mate who's either old enough or has an older sibling who'll bring your cans or whatever in for you. Every time I've been to Reading and been searched on the way in, I've always been asked for ID. While not everyone gets searched, especially at peak times (wednesday afternoon/thursday morning), you never know till you get there so not worth the risk of them taking it all away.

I know it sucks but most of us have been there (I had to get mates to buy it and bring it in during 2011 and 2012 Reading fests). All I can say is ask around, see who you know going and convince them to help you. Any other questions feel free to ask away mate, that's what the forum is here for after all :)
