V festival

I'm 16 and planning to go v this year but I really want to take alcohol in, how can I do this without it being taken off me? and is it hard to get it in underage.

also I smoke and I would be taking a 50g of tobacco in with me,would they take this off me or not? as at 16 I know you can legally smoke but not buy I don't know if that law has changed but just curious, as its my first festival.

You'll be fine taking alcohol and tobacco into the camp site. Never seen anyone being ID'd on entry, in fact it would look weird if you weren't taking any in with you. But, you will be ID'd once in the arena so best try and smuggle a bit in with you!!
