and interestingly says Disclosure headlines Other.

Not sure which way you are meaning this. Are you implying that they have read your suggestion it will be them if its not LCD on the Friday, or are you taking that as they might have their own source?

quite possibly have their own source, and I wouldn't rule it out being wrong tho my own sources have said differently.

It was a rumour going round anyway (might have even started from the same mag/writer?),

I'm sort-of hoping that Disclosure are headlining Other, because that would mean they're not playing before Adele (the other likely spot), leaving that spot free for Radiohead ... but I don't really think that's what's happening.

Think a lot of people would like that, but then where would LCD Soundsystem fit in all of this? I'd really like to see LCD, but it's not going to happen if Underworld are on at the same time.

as I said, I've heard differently - which is LCD.

It makes the most sense. There's an obvious spot for Disclosure if they don't headline, not one for LCD with what else we already know. Shame.

Could LCD be subbing Adele? Would make more sense to me than Disclosure

I wouldn't have thought so. Disclosure make more sense for what stage it is on. I would like to be wrong but doubt it.

The idea of Disclosure subbing is something that really doesn't make sense to me. Surely they need to be in the dark for one thing?

It appears they're subbing Stone Roses at T as well.

I dunno, a dancy subheadliner must work pretty well as the sun sets - I hear a lot of people really loved the Faithless sub, whenever that was.

nah, much too big to be in JP.

Disclosure have lots of mainstream/crossover appeal, so suit subbing Pyramid more than LCD.

I dunno if I agree with that tbh. The reason they probably won't headline the JPT is because they are headlining other festivals, not because they are too big. I can't wait to see LCD, but I think people will surprised by their crowd size at Glastonbury...

Wasn't that back when the sub was the subset slot?

That's what I said. But yeah, the only sub I've ever seen at Glastonbury was Nick Cave but I remember that still being pretty light, so maybe I'm chatting pure shite.

Oh and that they make £10K every year from the scrap metal from left over tent pegs and that that money goes towards the staffing costs of the litter pickers. ME said he still doesn't want you to leave your tents on site though!!

Thanks @Dukeicon

He also mentioned he has a meeting with Prince's representatives in a week's time and would like him for the 2018 festival.

And that 2017's headliners are booked.

Make of that what you will. Typical soundbites from the great man. Thoroughly enjoyed his company.

the 2018 festival as in this second festival he's started talking about? interesting - maybe he plans to trick Prince in to playing seeing as he seems to adamant to not play Glastonbury itself
