If going up to Download for one day from London - how can you get back?

I'm considering not going for the full weekend and perhaps just for saturday, so I can get back for Field Day in London on the sunday. Does anyone know if any coaches or trains run back to London after the concert on either of the nights?

I've tried searching it but haven't had much luck - it seems its mostly return coach packages offered for the whole weekend.

Hey-I know you posted this like a week ago but hopefully this will help if you're still looking for an answer!

You can get the Skylink bus from Castle Donington to Nottingham pretty much through the night, and from there you can get a coach-iirc there's a National Express around 3am and a Megabus around 4am to London. Obviously a bit painful but probably your best option if you want to stay till the headliners are over. 

There's also coaches that go from EMA, though I think you might have to change if you get those so it takes that bit longer, but they might be at better times.

Pretty much agree. There's a regular download bus to local cities. Take the bus to Derby or Nottingham, then take the train to London. Have a good one \m/
