Carrying your booze etc

Back packs are incredibly anti social in crowded areas, when alcohol and dancing are involved you're going to end up whacking people with them. I take a small 5ltr shoulder bag that's just big enough to fit 2/3 500ml bottles/cans  and a few other bits (perfect for me as I tend to go onto red wine then run later in the evening). If I need to carry more booze during the day I use the the cloth bag you get given on entry, which can then be folded and put in a pocket when the booze runs out.

+1 for using the cloth bag as @fur_q suggests for cans during the day.

I also use a very compact Camelback mule rucksack (Some mates fill the hydration bladder with cider, never risked it myself! ) which is big enough to fit in a couple of bottles of spirits & mixers but doesn't cause too much of a hazard in crowds.

If you're ending up camped miles away from the main areas, you could always stick a bag of cans in a lock up.  Bit of a faff for sure, but better than trying to trek around with 24 cans on your back...

If you do the latter though, make sure you donate! ;)

I tend to use a small-ish rucksack (like the standard school kid kind of size?) which can easily hold 10+ tins plus spirit + waterproof, and use it for the day time, then by night if theres anything left in it just pop it into a lock-up or just wear it on my back as its flat when theres nout in there!
