Early Entry- what time to go in?

I'm always there way too early for my own good, the car parks tend to fill up around 11:00-12:00, usually by this time there is a load of people waiting on the grass area for them to open the gates. Gates are meant to open at 12:00 but the last 2 years they've opened up around 11:30.

 

Campsites take a while to fill up as everyone has their individual preference to where to camp.
