Presumably there’s an agreement that the BBC shows coverage of the Pyramid headliners, and for most artists that coverage is part of the appeal given the well-known relatively modest fee they get. Obviously NY feels differently to most artists, and is sticking by his principles, but I don’t see any disgraceful behaviour from any side

To be honest I think the festival should be looking for other broadcasters or at least open it up for competition. The BBC relationship has got a little bit too comfortable and the BBC news behaviour over their coverage of recent world events makes them no longer an impartial or trusted broadcaster. 

The BBC are a disgrace. How can Glastonbury allow them to dictate what artists do? 

Hoping for Vampire Weekend, Bicep, Empire of The Sun, Snow Patrol and maybe Maribou State
