Travelling from Paddington on the Friday morning

Hello all...my wife and son are heading down to the festival on Friday morning by train from Paddington to Castlecary ...can anyone tell me if there are extra trains put on for the event or is it just the usual timetable??

They do run an increased service but by Friday morning it shouldn't be too busy and most people tend to arrive Wednesday or Thursday. It's well worth your wife taking a little effort to look like she isn't going to the festival.  A few years ago mrs fur q took the train form Paddington with my daughter when she was only 18 months on the Thursday. She only had a small bag an pushchair (as I'd taken all our stuff by car the day earlier). When she asked one of station staff if the massive penned in queue was where she had to wait for the CC train he told her she shouldn't be waiting with all 'these festival people' and escorted her to an empty train that they hadn't started loading yet.
