Can anyone possibly recommend somewhere to camp? Had the weather been looking great we'd probably have gone for Pennards as it's so lively, however we're now after somewhere at the top of a hill (just in case).. Thank you! Hitchin Hill would've been ideal but heard it's v quiet, and for a group of twenty somethings we'd rather be around people of our own age.

I've almost always camped in Oxlyers and have been there even in mudbath weather. Never had an issue with flooding as the festival has made a lot of efforts to combat the flooding issues in recent years. It's a campsite with quite a young vibe too.

Thank you! I'd heard that Oxlyers had a tendency to become a mudbath so I'd pretty much ruled it out but will have another look..

If it's a muddy one, anywhere as long as it's not too near a path... I.e. Get yourself 30 meters into the middle of a camp field, not on the edge.  The site drains well, it's the places people walk and tread down the ground that get sloppy,. And it dries out just as quick as it gets muddy

And don't camp downhill from a toilet or sink.... You'll be swimming in God knows what by the end..
