Ooo, I'm a bit walloped, but I've just had my very first genuine pangs of excitement for Glastonbury + Radiohead.

Jeepers. Off to YouTube for a bit...

Just on the old Tube now, watching the 2003 show. Goosebumps!

Watch the performace of Exit Music here at 30:29 if you haven't seen it. It's the best live version of it I've heard I think. The whole thing is great though.

Ahhh yes! I've seen that Exit Music before but not the whole performance, so thank you :D

The one from Prague '09, I think it was, is also great, so eerie

Is that Louis Theroux in the crowd at 4.28?!

was that when they did the outdoor gigs? I think london was at victoria park. Cant remember much about it really, which I guess says a lot!

Year after. I saw them at Wolverhampton Civic that year.

Said it before and I'll say it again, no RH gig could ever top the Old Trafford 2008 gig. So good it was worth missing GF for that year.

I had the chance to go to that but I bailed at the last minute to save a bit of money. Granted I wasn't as huge a fan as I am now, but I still regret not going. Easily one of their best set lists and, by all accounts, one of their greatest shows.

It was the year that you could buy a GF ticket up until the week before the festival. I'd spent six months bugging my mates about going but they weren't up for it after the shitstorm that was 2007. We decided to go to Radiohead as a compromise, it was easily the right choice. It's in my top 3 gigs alongside Bowie in Birmingham and Blur's 09 headline set.

How have I missed HTDC off this... I'd take out Weird Fishes, personally. Cant exactly take one of the two AMSP tunes off!

Also, no I'm soberererer, swap Just for National Anthem.

Unacceptable.

Sorry :/ I love the tune, it's in my original setlist - but if I had to pick between hearing that or HTDC live on the Pyramid in June, it would be the latter.

No no no.

One of the things I'd look forward to the very most in Glastonbury 2017 would be Ed's haunting, beautiful off-mike "hey-oh" backing vocals** in Weird Fishes/Arpeggi. One of the bands finest moments and to see that on the Pyramid would be a genuine moment.

Ben

**as an aside, when did backing vocals become bloody back-up vocals? I get disproportionately annoyed when my teenagers or their friends use that term!

Don't get me wrong Benjamin, I absolutely love it and I hope it's in the setlist. But head-to-head with HTDC (for me personally), I'd have to omit it! HTDC for me was one of those songs which confirmed to me how much I loved the band.

Oh, and it is clearly backing vocals!!!

"What're you up to tonight?"

"Grounded"

"Me too. What for?"

"Parents found some weed in their car and realised me and my mates had been smoking and joyriding in it last night after they went to sleep. You?"

"Dad was listening to a deep house remix of some Iranian folk-metal and I said I liked the back-up vocals. He went fucking nuts and said I couldn't go out until Easter"

I'm pretty sure that moment will come.

Wow haha. So much use of the sleeper hold. I got to the front of the pyramid for Radiohead but died in prison after trying to get backstage.
