Yeah it was one of the highlights at Nos. Easily the best AMSP live song they played that day. But that was a poor day for Radiohead

It's one of the highlights of the album for me but I'm unsure whether it's more of a headphone moment to be enjoyed alone rather than a live gem. I think it would fit perfectly at the beginning of an encore.

It's up there with my favourites when I think of songs I've seen live. I'm also a big fan of Bones, but it's not the sorta thing you want to say out loud around here

cloudb
Not surprised. I felt adequately guilty even bringing it up. It's not a song I particularly love but it's just one of those songs that just works live and I'll forever have fond memories of it for that very reason. I'd throw "You" into the same pile too. Not suggesting either of these should make their way into the setlist ahead of some other better options.
jparx
You is a helluva tune as well! You have good taste in old, guilty pleasure Radiohead songs

Yeah aside from it being a slower song it is also fairly long - 6:24 on the album. I can't help but feel like Daydreaming could have gone the way of Pyramid Song or an Exit Music for a Film sort of thing where it's Thom and Johnny doing their thing for the first half, then drums and the rest of the band kick in in the second half and the song becomes massive. Mind you I still love the song as is, just wonder what it would have been like that way.
SwedgeAntilles
I love Daydreaming, top 3 songs on the album for me, and I hope they play it. But agree 100% it's place is opening the first encore. Problem is I've got a feeling it's a big favourite of Thom's, and I've got another feeling it'll retain its place early on in the set. Won't be a mood killer from me but it'll be a turn off for Jimmy Joe Average
jparx
Daydreaming is one of those tracks that would massively compliment one of the older, rockier tunes. Daydreaming > Just would be great. Definitely agree that starting the first encore with it is the way to go. Perhaps: Daydreaming Just Paranoid Android There There 2+2=5

SwedgeAntilles
Right, it's time for another Swedge Antilles, patented, out of this world Radiohead set list. Sasperella
The stuff I've seen on here about Thom's voice not being able to hack Climbing up the Walls anymore make me a bit sad. Is it definitely a no-goer? It rarely comes up in people's setlists and I outright refuse to believe it's because noone likes it :-o I shall have to attempt to listed the crap out of it between now and June so that I'm almost relieved when it's not played.... They played it at the roundhouse last year when i was there and it sounded fine. Thom does sing OK computer songs differently now as his voice has obviously aged, but I thought it was fine. Wouldn't be expecting it on the Glastonbury set though.

theDandy
I'm coming round to the idea that Daydreaming would work well as an encore opener, but still think it would be a waste of a song at Glastonbury

Never seen it live so can't comment on how Thom is with it these days, but considering they played it at both their 1997 and 2003 headline performances and it's only an album track (not single) I'd say the chances of it being played this time 'round are slim, which is probably why it's being left off of people's predicted setlists rather than nobody liking it. SwedgeAntilles
Calling it a waste is utter nonsense. It's a brilliant track and it deserves to be in the set list, just not straight out the blocks.
