I am praying inwardly on a daily basis that they play Lucky at G. My face may fall off.

I fear it being a tour staple pretty much since 1997 means it'll be left out this time in favour of other songs from that album. Besides, we can't just have all of OK Computer and The Bends played despite many setlist predictions leaning very much in that direction

I'm hoping for as much Kid A and In Rainbows as possible personally - 4 songs from each would do the trick (Everything in it's Right Place, The National Anthem, How to Disappear Completely, Idioteque / Bodysnatchers, Nude, Weird Fishes, Reckoner). They can fill the rest of the setlist with Pablo Honey and TKOL in full after that for all I care.

Has anyone yet come up with a viable setlist that includes all the songs they hope Radiohead don't play?  Just in case we're running out of lists...

1. How Do You?
2. Hunting Bears
3. Fitter Happier
4. Anyone Can Play Guitar
5. Prove Yourself
6. Untitled
7. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors
8. A Punch Up At a Wedding
9. Ripcord
10. I Will
11. I Can't
12. MK1
13. 4 Minute Warning
14. Feral
15. Coke Babies
16. Lewis (Mistreated)
17. Maquiladora
18. Faithless The Wonder Boy

19. MK2
20. Inside My Head
21. High and Dry

I'll get slaughtered for this, but I'm not that big a fan of National Anthem. I'm much rather hear something from Amnesiac, maybe Knives Out or Like Spinning Plates...although I do concede National Anthem is one of the rare upbeat/dancey tunes.

Even though I wasn't there in 2003, I tend to lean towards seeing different tunes than what they played at that show.

National Anthem is fine until it goes all 'Jazz Club' towards the end. Great intro and would be a decent addition to the set list but I wouldn't be particularly bothered about it not turning up.

That's exactly my issue. I find the last minute or so almost un-listenable. It disrupts the flow of the album IMO.

Although it may well get left out of the setlist as they've been playing it frequently since it's release and only recently has it stopped being a live staple, I'd be pretty gutted if they didn't play TNA. One of my all time favourites, and live it is incredible. Always thought it should've been the single from Kid A - perfect mix of both the weird elements of the album but still an upbeat banger of sorts. And the free jazz outro is brilliant - y'all are bonkers.

Yep it's absolutely brill. An essential track for a festival set I reckon. Hopefully they have it early on in the setlist like last time they played to get people moving early on.

How good was that opening 4 back in 2003...

1. There There

2. 2 + 2 = 5

3. Lucky

4. The National Anthem

Wonderful stuff!

Just listened to that performance and have the following observations:

  • I still feel sorry for Ed.  It's bad enough being the rhythm (aka junior) guitarist in a band, but that's clearly Thom, who is an excellent guitar player, who is usually playing whatever rhythm line is most prominent in a song.
  • National Anthem sounded great...but instead on climaxing with Humph and crew, some brass band people I've not heard of. it just repeated for a bit then ended.  The thing is - it sounded fine, but I knew it was missing the most thrilling part.
  • They've got old.

Bollocks, Humphrey Lyttelton played on Amnesiac, not Kid A.

No, I meant they've got old compared to then. They were so fresh faced in 2003!

Ah I see. Yeah both appearance and performance wise time has taken it's toll - I just hope they've got one last killer headline performance in them. Be a damn shame if this years is underwhelming and ruins their perfect track record, although I can't imagine it'll be anything less than at least 'good' (fingers crossed).

It wouldn't come in my top 18. I used to like it a lot more than I do now.

Perfect example of a tune starting great, going along OK, then just ending quite poorly, in all honesty. My opinion of course.

Essential tune, for the start alone.

Everything In Its Right Place.. essential. Idioteque, obviously. How To Disappear Completely? PLEASE. The National Anthem was killer at Roundhouse. I WANT TO HEAR KID A ON THE PYRAMID. I love Optimistic too. In Limbo is underrated. FUCK IT PLAY THE WHOLE ALBUM

I loved hearing Kid A at the Roundhouse! Would be great on the Pyramid. But I'd rather have How To Disappear completely.
