There will be an announcement every Friday until tickets go on sale and at least one act confirmed for each day of the festival so they can put all weekend and day tickets on sale at once.

It's a good start, but this year I wait before getting tickets, because RW16 was not as good as the previous ones because of the line-up. However this start allows to hope a glorious edition.

Hello ,  

Been to benicassim, optimus alive, IOW etc and fancy trying Rock Werchter next year. I wondered if anyone who has been there before would  be kind enough to help me with my plans?

Im in the midlands, so  what is the best way to get there?  euro star? or fly?  

Any recommendations  for campsites?  I prefer to pay a bit more for Glamping or up graded campsite if possible ,  or even happy to stay  local in hotel or apartment  if it is near enough .

Another thing I just noticed : on Nova Rock's line up, there are Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, band of Chris Shifflet...from Foo Fighters. Don't you think it certainly rules out Foo Fighters and confirms we'll have to wait til 2018 ?

Last year I was in the Vip camping and it was amazing. We paid 55€ pp for the my tent resort package (you have to bring your own tent and you have a reserved area).

the camping was perfect, it has free shower, a great chill area and other stuff. 

It wasn't never too crowded and despite of the terrible weather all the area and the ground were ok (I think the organizers have done a great work).

can't be easier than taking Eurostar.
Then take train in Brussels (same station as Eurostar) to Leuven. It's only 15 minutes and train is included in your festivalticket. Outside the trainstation take the free bus to Werchter (every minute).
In Leuven there are hotels, hostels, airbnb's, etc. 
Lots of different campings, festihuts, luxury campings in Werchter.

That said:
Brussels Airport isn't far as well...

Been tempted by Werchter for a number of years. Think I'll definitely try and go this year now assuming I can get someone to come with. Do tickets normally sell out quickly?

You tend to be okay, at least until April depending on the lineup (last year didn't even sell out)

Great, cheers. I'll hopefully get folk to confirm before the tickets go on sale so we can get it sorted asap. Would imagine travel from Scotland will be as expensive as the tickets

we've gone from Scotland last 2 years and it's pretty easy. Fly to Brussels and it's a breeze from there. Really well organised festival and if sun shines and they pull together a decent line up you'll have a ball
