It sounds like everyone wants The Killers added, even on twitter they were commenting on the OATW requesting them.

You'd imagine there'll be in Belgium at some point if their touring Europe, so it bodes well that they haven't been announced for anything else yet!

Has anyone traveled from U.K. before and could help with the below please?

We'll be flying to Brussels and obviously this will mean we're without a lot of the things we'd normally take i.e. Crates of alcohol, deck chairs etc. I'll probably only take a hold-all full of clothes and put the tent in hold luggage.

Are there facilities either as you walk in or on the site itself to buy all of this? I know there'll obviously be bars in the arena but are there supermarkets (or a festival equivalent) where we can buy cases of beer for around the camp on the festival site? Deck chairs etc. as well... but most importantly, the beer!

Ive been tasked with organising the whole thing, so I'm getting questions I don't know the answers to!

You will no doubt get the free train from Brussels to leuven, you will find plenty of stores for your beer there.

Get train from Brussels Airport to Leuven.  You'll need to pay some fee 4euros or something for using the airport train station, which is a total rip off.  When you get to Leuven train station just head across the road, there's plenty shops there that sell booze.  You'd maybe need to research where to get camp chairs and if you can buy beforehand you should.  They were 25 euros in the campsite.  The free shuttle buses are right next to the station so not far to carry the beer.  With the constant stream of shuttle buses you can go back into Leuven and get stocked up.  I think there's a supermarket at werchter close to arena entrance but I've not used it.

In addition to @thetime and @Red Day tips,  there is a store that sales camping stuff in decent prices right by the supermarket in Leuven. Its a walking distance of about 5-7 minutes from where you hop on/off the shuttle busses.

Great, thanks for the info all three of you, sounds like we'll be able to work it out pretty easily!

It's a total breeze. Doubt you'll go to another festival that's so well run. We've travelled from Scotland last 2 years and it's a really organised event.

Do you fly from Edinburgh / Glasgow? Ryanair seem to fly from Glasgow but its not the main Brussels airport. Is it easy to get from airport to festival site?

How big are Kasabian in Belgium? Is there any chance they could be added?

I've just seen an email from Leeds Festival saying theyre announcing the second headliner next week which if you believe all the rumours looks set to be them... already have some Italian dates announced for July too.

More likely for Pukkelpop I'd imagine.

They played before Muse in 2015

Everyone is mentioning The Killers but are all the headliners not announced? I have never been to this festival before but the lineup is so good already. If The Killers are added i think i may just have to go!

I think that while they're still a possibility, it's more of a wishful thinking. My opinion is that if RW booked the Killers they should be announced tomorrow as there's no reason to delay it. Its been a long time since the Killers's first European festival announcement and they added some more since.  In addition other Belgian festival that could announce them today didn't and there isn't a Belgian date that awaits to sell out (like the xx which btw I believe wont play at RW this year).

Seems a bit arbitrary to rule out The Killers if they haven't been announced by tomorrow. That band is bound to announce more festival dates, they've only got 3 or 4 lined up so far. And there could be 100 reasons for not having announced them yet. Perhaps they want to wait until all the practical details are arranged (can imagine The Killers having other demands in return for being subheadliner). Or they're doing a double booking with Main Square Festival (which is still missing a Saturday headliner), and they're waiting to have a joint announcement.

As long as we don't have a subheadliner-sized band for the Sunday and The Killers are free that day, I'm not ruling them out.
