It's a fantastic line-up. It makes a long time I haven't seen a line-up like that at Main Square festival. Die Antwoord is ruled out because of Dour, JAIN will probably be at Couleur Café or Les Ardentes; I want Biffy Clyro, Seasick Steve, Kaleo, Mark Lanegan, Xavier Rudd, and The Inspector Cluzo (they are beasts on stage).

That's not a bad list of bands. I'd have Frank Carter and Don Broco as well.

Does anyone, perhaps in Belgium, have any updates about the camping situation? I realise that there are issues with some of the campsites and I don't want to buy my ticket/vouchers/etc until I can also buy a camping ticket as I don't want to pay a booking fee twice. I don't want to camp in the Hive, far too old for that nonsense!

See your last line about being too old for Hive, trust me you're not. I'm hardly a youngster and stayed there in 15. It's a great campsite and nothing like a UK festival with marauding teenagers out of their faces. Totally relaxed area to stay in

I was going to pick up on this myself... the impression I got was that there's a standard camping and The Hive (excluding any glamping options) and assumed Hive would be the one to avoid the 'kids' with it being 27 euros, assuming the others free? You'll notice im assuming a lot

Is the case? I'm not expecting a Leeds festival style crowd anyway but would like to pay the 27 euros extra if it gives us a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere.

The only issue is of you don't want it chilled/relaxed. It's a very chilled festival on the campsite and during the bands.

Very rare the crowd really go for it, biffy in the tent few years ago was a bit manic. Had my mobile stolen during that show, not prepared for the crowd to go wild haha. It's one angle I love about werchter, no barging and pushing you get at reading/Leeds/titp/download etc etc .

To be honest that makes it appeal to me more. We're only a group of 24 year olds, which might not sound too old but I'm definitely ready for a festival where I don't get tins of spaghetti hoops thrown at me from neighbouring groups of 17 year olds (Leeds) .

I'm also hoping Sex is on Fire will be the only time I hear something's on fire, rather than Will Grigg.

24 !! You're just a bairn !!!!. Hive is a brilliant campsite and as @thetime says the whole festival is really chilled. The Belgians and other nationalities are great people. For me the reason for the relaxed vibr is the total lack of pissheads. The Europeans will have beers but they don't seem to class drinking as a race to make a total arse of yourself and bugger up everyone else's enjoyment

Yeah we're really looking forward to it, the only nerve racking part is we can't buy tickets until Saturday as we're waiting on one friend but I'd assume if it was going to sell out before then they'd have said tickets are running low by now.

Just got to hope the announcement Friday is good, but not so good it has people rushing onto the website!

There is a case of being too static for a band that are a bit get up and go though. Surely you want a bit of movement and give back to a bands energy.

Fair bit of energy on the go at BMTH and Offspring last year.
