Something that definitely doesn't seem to move are the London crowds. Wowzer.

I've somehow turned into a full blown tourist today. Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Downing Street, South Bank, London Eye, the lot. I've seen royal marches, breakdance performers, magicians, live music... and I've only been here 3 hours!

Time to refuel :)

Fantastic!! I do love London. I almost moved there about 8 years ago. Glad I didn't now though, I love where I live and I love to visit London, but I think it is too hectic for more than a short visit!

I'm pretty bad on all fronts.

I definitely remember Arcadia being down in the SE corner when I first went in 09. BBC Introducing was still up in the Park I think?  WH was still Jazz World.

Yeah, Arcadia was still in the SE corner in 2010 too. In 2011 it had a year in the corner of the Other Stage field, just outside The Glade (although Glade wasn't there that year), and then it moved to Park Home in 2013.

I think you might be out by a year there, not that I was actually there in 2011 and 2013, but I thought it was still in the SE corner in 2011 and Other in 2013, before moving to it's current location in 2014 (see below)

Couldn't agree more - it's a great city, it really is, but in short bursts. If I was in amongst it all the time I think it would be a bit much!

Yep, it was still in SE corner in 2011. I remember going early one evening to watch the Lords of Lightning show. It was amazing! I remember because some friend were with us and they only came in 2011.

Fair enough, I guess the years are blurring in my memory!

Do you know, in 5 visits I've not seen the LoL show?   Terrible.

This is why I keep coming back to my solo idea for 2017 - I'm going to do all this shit!  I have a feeling I'm going to fall in love with the place all over again :)

It was good to move it from SE, but it definitely works better in Park Home than Other methinks.

All this just goes to show how much work really goes in to keeping it fresh year on year.  Christ, if I remember correctly there weren't even the urinals back in 2009!

Arcadia changes it's show every couple of years/every year (not sure!), LOL was in 2011 and poss 2013 too, not sure! Last year it was the Metamorphosos one, which I watched, I didnt watch it this year as I think it was the same.

Like you said earlier though, nothing is certain due to ones twatted nature! I was saying something to Mr Ginger recently about something I'd seen this year, and he said "yeah I was with you". Oops! Haha!

Portishead. That was awesome. Truly awesome. Most of our group went, and afterwards we were all in a bit of a daze. It was tremendous!

In that case I've just never seen any of the Arcadia shows!  Terrible :)

Still love the fact I'd forgotten I saw Bastille until they came on the radio!

Haha! Yes that sort of thing is brilliant!

I saw Bastille, had to leave before the end though to go and meet people for something else, I can't remember. Hang on, I think we had this conversation before! Oh dear!

Can you imagine if you and I hung out at the festival, we'd forget everything! I bet we'd have a nice time though! :)

It wouldn't matter if you had a shit time, really.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to have a shit time at Glastonbury, if you do, you're doing it wrong!

I had to have a word with myself on the Saturday this year as I was feeling a it rubbish- my ribs hurt from falling, I hurt from walking, I was tired, hungry, and just wanted to sit down. So I went to find somewhere to eat, found somewhere with seats, had a crepe and some homemade lemonade (lovely!), chatted to a chap that seemed to be in a similar situation, had a word with myself about manning the fuck up, manned up, had a fag, then went on my merry way and had a lovely sing song at Will Young before going to meet my mates. It's all about attitude!

So yeah, a shit time is not what we'd have!

Sorry bit of an essay there,. I got carried away!

That's quite a nihilist view.  Is that because in 100 years hence we'll all be dust, or are you more a heat death of the universe kinda guy?

EDIT: Or do you just hate lucy and the ferengi?
