Yep, that was pants last year. Only  Dr Ben Incredible was able to run so fast as to hover over the mud.

Soz dudes, checking in for duty. Got some shitty family shit goin down but not here to bring the mood down so big holler from Ireland. 

Why is it every year i spend months waiting for the drop then have stuff going on which means too distracted to spend hours blissfully looking at it uninterrupted. Anyway, yay. Dropkick Murphys. Biggest surprise for me and good time. No idea what they're like but I think I'll love them.

Sorry to hear you have family issues, always the case. Hopefully it all calms down and you'll get a chance to study the line up soon.

Yeah it's a little surprising that nothing has happened so far. I have absolutely no idea whether there will a resale or not this year but I'm keeping my hopes up for the rest of this week at least. So disappointing too for the army of helpers that have been on standby over the last few weeks too.:( As for the 'other' ways of being there, I'm putting the feelers out already...:)

Good luck with that MJ.  I don't want to lose hope for a resale but it's looking increasingly unlikely.  Do you know any of the food vendors?  I know people who have several food vans there and they sometimes get extra tickets allocated the week the festival opens.  Unfortunately I'm not in a position to nab one for you via that route, and not knowing whether you have a ticket until the Wed/Thurs would make the secret resale stress pale into insignificance.

Hi Dizzy, sadly I don't know any of the food vendors on site so there's no in that way unless anybody reading this can help. Unfortunately not being able to arrive before the Thursday somewhat limits my options too. Of course the main problem I have is the fact that I'm so far away from the festival. It's a long way to travel on the offchance that I may be able to get in so I would need to know there was at least a good chance. Still 3 weeks left before the gates open though so I'm certainly still assuming I'll be able to make it somehow! Far too early to be giving up yet! :)

afternoon all, line up dropped and it looks like there are no must see acts this year for me

theres a couple id like to see who I haven't yet and a fair few I know I like who I have seen so still something to go at but I was just a little underwhelmed yesterday when I saw it

Im must just be well out of touch with music trends this year
