Well it's my sons festival ON THE BUS tomorrow so I'm really hoping for some sun so me and the wife are of on a mission. 

If I'm not back before glasto I leave you with this last picture of us as we head off into the wild.

@lucyginger, I've been sewing too lately, transforming a mere double duvet into a high quality (ie bodged) flag pole sleeve for the van flags. I fully expect it to split on the first night in the wind.

Just so you know this is not a poor version of a well known film that was made by some unknown director after he read my weekend story... My friend MilkyJoe just has a jealous streak cos he only got to play the part where someone messed around with a big sword and got shot lol.. Now some of you might think I'm talking rubbish BUT if you turn on your TV you'll find IM talking more sense than a lot of people tonight lol

I've told you a thousand times MilkyJoe I didn't write that bit that was stevie boy lol

Cabbage alert. I'm still awake. Watching the results (bless you Newcastle - @Curlygirl) and rather than go to bed dejected, I'm feeling a little bit hopeful. Bound to fall asleep before confirmation and builders here at 6.30am. ouch. Fingers crossed.

Today will be interesting! I stayed up way too late, feeling a bit fragile at the mo! That last smoke at 1.30am was probably a mistake... Oops! 

The weather gods seem very confused here too, NG! My drive to work is only a couple of miles, but I had r***, wind, and sunshine! 

Have a lovely time with your friend, I bet they're feeling the same! You'll be fine though after the first hug!!

I stayed up too late last night to be in work today. But you know, I have a desk job so it's not too bad. Interesting couple of days / ahead.

I did too! I also have a desk job, and coffee, so I think we might be ok!

I'm actually addicted to caffeine and probably drink around 20 cups of coffee a day! It's pretty much my biggest vice these days.

20?? Bloody hell!! 

I also want to know how you function, I know water is better for keeping awake but coffee is soo nice! Apart from when you get your morning coffee from the nearby crepe place, and on the very short walk back to camp, get knocked by passers by and it burns your hand! I got to camp and immediately said to my sister, "I need medical attention!!", she had some magic burn gel stuff on me in seconds!! Amazing! Her Glastonbury days are currently on hold, I do worry how I manage without her cabin crew training (she can deal with anything from minor injuries to delivering a baby- and everything in between), my first aid kit consists of a few old plasters and some safety pins! I survived the Rib Incident last year with help from our very own Dr Ben!! His advice: up the drinking and chemistry habit to numb the pain! My emergency Naproxen were also very useful! 

Crikey sorry, bit of an essay! I think I need a lie down.

Oh this is my last Friday in work before the festival! I'm off to That London next week to see the Stone Roses! Woo!

Will be taking suncream and waterproofs to please the Mighty Weather Gods

Today I was given two free r**n ponchos at my local Renault dealership. I intend to wear them both in all weathers between now and the 21st June as a sacrifice.

Frowned upon when drinking at one's desk!! I did have some last night, and will have more later, so it's ok! 

Slightly regretting the last gin and accompanying smoke at 1.30am now though....
