It's Manchestery out, it has been all night. It's going to be all day. I so need to get my arse in gear and start packing/ironing/deciding what to take/shopping for booze etc but I can't get motivated today! I have so much other stuff to do too.

CG I need to get sorted too! I have written a little list though, so that's a start! Going to make sure all my festival clothes are clean and still fit, need to mend my big rucksack, make sure my new trolley is ok, stuff like that. I'm in London next weekend for the Roses so really need to do things today! Might have another coffee first...

I'm still sat perusing the internet. The only thing I have done today is get a glass of juice! What is wrong with me? I need to write 10 birthday cards and put money in some so a bank trip in order. I need to wrap 2 loads of pressies and deliver them. As well as the Glasto packing/Spain packing and Gainsborough packing! I'll probably do the bank and alcohol run later, and put stuff in plies and pack tomorrow

Its so very Manchestery up here. Our waterfall is back with a vengeance. 

We got tents down from loft/mezzanine yesterday. Packing will be done next week. Builders have taken over the house to such am extent we are in our bedroom living. Getting a bit stir crazy so heading up to my friend in Edinburgh tomorrow to get away as they need to get into our last room. So much dust and noise. So camping at Glasto will be an upgrade.

Hopefully when we get back from Glastonbury we'll finally have a kitchen. I'm so excited.

Afternoon all

Today, Somerset has been experiencing what can only be described, in Peter Kay's voice, as 'that fine r**n that soaks you through'. Fortunately though, it's also quite warm and breezy, so it's evaporating almost as quick as it lands. Shouldn't be hampering the festival build, assuming they've got the same.

Oh Yog, that just made me cry. A dear friend of mine who was super talented singer musician used to sing that song all the time. He passed away in his sleep in his 30's. Unhealthy relationship with alcohol hampered him greatly in life. We argued all the time but he helped me through some tough times. What I would give to hear him sing again. Sorry for downer but i can hear his voice. Such a loss.
