In other news, I did my festival poundland shop yesterday, and sorted out all my festival leg wear! Woo!

Trying desperately to pack , on the boat on Friday and so busy at work before then, so need to break the back of it tonight .

im actually feeling a bit overwhelmed at the thought of all the queues, no idea why, and the thought of having silly queues every day due to being in the cv fields .... Never felt like this before , quite strange 

Anyway back to trying to cut back on 'stuff'

It'll be ok, I think it's just because it's new that we feel a bit uncertain. I do too! I'm also a bit concerned that we'll be really quite drunk by the time we have to put the tents up!

Sorry to hear about your friend H.M.V.  I also had a mate depart from this world way way too early. The last time that I saw him alive was when I accidentally met him in a pub. I walked in through the doors of the pub to see him snorting a major white line off the table in front of him, in front of staff, punters, everybody. It wasn't the kind of pub where you can do that sort of thing and get away with it, but he did.

Hello lovelies, I hope you've had a good weekend.  Sorry to hear about your friend @H.M.V.  Memories of those we've lost come back to bite us on the bum long after we think we've come to terms with the sadness.  I'd endorse what others have said here - it's good to have a cry when you need it.

@carlosj our hallway has been painted sunshine yellow for many years,  but it doesn't seem to have pleased the weather gods enough..

@Funkyfairy! I don't think there's anything we can do about the queues except be chill and bring plenty to occupy ourselves.  I wonder if there are queue games, like there are games to keep children from complaining/fighting on long car journeys.  And I suppose we'll need to remember to go to the toilet before we set off too!

10 days before we're due to leave for Somerset,  we still haven't got our tickets and I'm getting decidedly jumpy.  We had an email on Wednesday to say tickets had been dispatched, but there was no Royal Mail tracking ref. We're waiting for See to reply to our request for one.  I'm assuming they haven't actually sent them yet, hence no tracking info,  but we do have a new postie so it's a bit worrying.  I don't feel I can even make a list until we have the tickets, so am even more disorganised than usual this year.

In other news, I'm packed!! 5ltr of alcohol and everything else all in the one backpack. I'm super proud of myself! Not even anything hanging off the sides.

Aye, I guess the memory is hightenened by the on this day function on Facebook cos I've been coming across conversations we've had. He was seriously an amazing singer though that was better than David Gray. Always joked with him Craig David, David Gray. His name was Craig. In a bo selecta way. I miss that fucker. Never known anyone to rile me as much. Lol

Thanks CG, also taking standard jeans and t shirts ... That's the beauty of a van, although still trying to pack light, else my whole wardrobe would be in lol

well done for getting everything in one rucksack ... That's the beauty of camping , squashing it all in minimal luggage rooms, I'd go back to camping in a shot , the rest of the Gang, no way lol

Afternoon. I bloody love Edinburgh. Saw an amazing pair of tweed plus fours that would totally rock my world. Also about 50 restaurants I want to visit. Coming back in august for fringe and to eat all the food. 

Also think we might have spotted a yeti wedding suit.
